In March 1945, tanks from the american ‘easy’ company 3rd armoured division pushed into Cologne with orders to take the city as part of operation ‘lumberjack’. Unknown to them was the remnants of the 9th panzer division, still determined to fight to the last despite defeat staring them in the face.
